About The Event

A desperate phone call. A decade of questions. A deadly race to the truth.

Dying to Know is a new heartstopping thriller to keep you reading all night, from critically acclaimed Rae Cairns

Rae Cairns writes crime with heart: thrillers and suspense featuring everyday people facing extraordinary circumstances. Her debut novel The Good Mother draws on her background as a youth worker mentoring disadvantaged youth, many of them children of the paramilitaries, in Northern Ireland during the final years of 'The Troubles'. Rae has also co-managed a crisis refuge for street children, worked as Program Director for the Sydney Olympic Youth Camp and holds a degree in Performing Arts. When she's not playing around with the lives of her imaginary characters she loves to read, hike, travel and sing. Rae lives in Sydney with her husband, two children and her dog, Alfie, who snores at her feet when she writes.

Ali Lowe has been a journalist for 20 years. She has written for bridal magazines, parenting titles, websites and newspapers in London and then Australia, after she moved to Sydney fourteen years ago on a trip that was meant to last a year. She was Features Editor at OK! in London, where she memorably stalked celebrities in Elton John's garden at his annual White Tie and Tiara ball. Ali lives on the northern beaches of Sydney with her husband and three young children. The Trivia Night was published in February of last year, and her second novel, The Running Club, hits shelves in March.
